Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification required or equivalent training.
• WA Medical Assistant certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association CPR/BLS upon hire.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients, collect vitals, medical history, medications, and allergies, and assist with exams.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, basic laboratory tests, and communicate results.
• Document encounters and update EMR; review records for accuracy and privacy.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, and coordinate patient flow across providers.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Provide patient education, handle calls, verify insurance, registrations, and payments.
