Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6 months of medical office/clinic experience or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant Program.
• MA-R license through WA state within 60 days of hire.
• BLS-RQI certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to present information to administrative and clinical staff, leaders, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead on proactively preparing patient charts and ensuring information is up-to-date.
• Handle multiple patients daily depending on physicians on-site.
• Support day-to-day clinic operations to keep the day running smoothly.
