Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Medical Assistant certification WA.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients; collect vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies; assist with examinations and patient mobility.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, basic lab procedures; administer approved medications; communicate lab results; support diagnostic testing.
• Document patient encounters; update EMRs; review records for accuracy; ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements.
• Schedule appointments, diagnostic services, referrals; coordinate patient flow and follow-up across departments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain exam rooms; manage supplies and equipment; ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Provide patient education; handle calls; verify insurance; process registrations; collect payments; resolve routine issues; escalate as needed.
