Job summary

Kaweah Delta's Lindsay Health Clinic in Lindsay, California, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams in a fast-paced office setting. Under the supervision of an LVN/RN, you will prepare exam rooms, assist with patient flow, and help with procedures and treatments as directed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or proof of training under a licensed physician.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; determined by hiring leader based on clinic needs.
• Heartsaver AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam rooms for patient visit; stocks and orders supplies as needed.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms; may take and record vital signs; assist with patient flow.
• Assists care givers with procedures and treatments as directed.
• May perform venipuncture/capillary puncture and label/record specimens.
• Documents information into medical records; ensures lab/x-ray data are filed.
• Maintains equipment and coordinates lab work; supports billing and scheduling as needed.
