Kaweah Health is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for the Lindsay Health Clinic. Under supervision, you'll prepare exam rooms, assist providers, and manage patient flow in a busy rural health setting.

Preferred candidates hold a Medical Assistant training certificate and Heartsaver AED, with bilingual Spanish considered a plus. You will perform clerical duties, venipuncture may be required, and you will document care in the EMR system. Shift is day-time for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• License /Certification Required: Heartsaver AED
• Education Required: Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or proof of training under a licensed physician
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: bilingual Spanish preferred; bilingual needs assessment by clinic
• Testing: Language Resource Assistant (LRA) test may be required if selected
• SRCC: 1–2 years of experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits.
• Stock and order supplies as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure equipment is clean and ready before visits.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs when needed.
• Complete paperwork and assist with patient flow and procedures.
• Enter information into medical records and assist with billing and scheduling.
