Job summary

Solera Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and support resident health needs in accordance with physician orders and state regulations. You will work closely with nursing leadership, home health, hospice, and emergency services, with potential supervisory duties when management is absent.

Qualifications

• State-required Medication Technician (RMA/Med Tech) training and certification, where applicable.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm in stressful situations.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Genuine compassion for older adults and concern for their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Follow medication room systems and safety procedures per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and emergency protocols as needed.
• Supervise resident care team members to ensure completion of assigned duties when acting as shift lead.
