Job summary

AdvisaCare in Spring Lake, MI is seeking experienced Resident Aides and Med Techs for 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM) in Independent Living communities. Roles include passing medications, assisting with ADLs, and interacting with residents and families.

Candidates should have MORC certification or recent experience in similar facilities, a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Full-time and part-time positions with competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• This role requires recent experience in Independent/Assisted Living or MORC Certified.
• Friendly personality and willingness to spend time with residents.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to travel within the service area and pass a background check.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Passing medications.
• Assisting with ADLs (showering, dressing, toileting, etc).
• Interacting with residents and their families.
• Monitoring in dining room and with residents at meals.
• Handling fast-paced situations.
• Transferring residents as needed.
• Light housekeeping duties.
