Charter Senior Living Huntersville is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician/Med Tech to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with nursing staff to uphold resident dignity and safety.

The ideal candidate has a state-certified Med Tech credential and a true passion for elder care, with strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure quality daily life for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification as required by state regulations
• Previous assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience preferred
• CNA, caregiver, or direct care experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
