Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Medical Surgical Unit in Cambridge, MN. You will support RNs by taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, transfers and documentation as part of a day/evening 8/12-hour shift pattern.

Under supervision, you’ll help with admissions, patient comfort, and care coordination, while following unit protocols. This role offers benefits and potential weekend differentials in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA program or equivalent certification.
• NREMT certification upon hire or CNA academy completion.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, collect, and document health data per policy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Document accurately and transcribe orders in EMR.
• Answer call lights promptly and support patient comfort.
