Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography. You will collaborate with radiologists and breast care teams while delivering compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort.

The role supports ARRT and MQSA standards, with emphasis on image quality, patient dignity, and safety. Eligibility requires ARRT registration and BLS, plus prior mammography experience in hospital or imaging settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered (R) and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide care to patients across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and MQSA standards.
• Ensure image quality while maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic information.
• Participate in quality assurance and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with general radiology procedures as needed.
