Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography expertise to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure safety, and support pre- and post-procedural processes in a dynamic hospital setting. Requirements include AMA-approved Radiology Technology training and ARRT registration, with at least 1 year Rad Tech experience and 2 years Mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology and ARRT registered.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Rad Tech and 2 years Mammography experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to work under pressure and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Ensure patient identification and proper marker use.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and release patients.
• Respond to emergency situations and use critical thinking.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET approach.
• Assist other technologists in all modalities when needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort.
