Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Imaging team in New Jersey. You will produce quality mammography images, ensure patient safety, and educate patients on procedures while collaborating with Radiologists.

The role requires ARRT registration, an NJ state radiographer license, and 2+ years of mammography experience. You will perform QA/QC, adhere to ALARA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines, and operate RIS/PACS/EHR systems in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) (R) required.
• Advanced registry in Mammography (M) required.
• Must have current NJ State Radiographer License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2+ years’ experience performing Mammography required.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety by utilizing proper exposure and protective measures.
• Educates and explains procedures to patients.
• Follows department protocols for coding, labeling and QA/QC as mandated.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards in imaging.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and communicates with Radiologists.
