Job summary

Summit Health Management in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Imaging department. You will produce high-quality mammography images, ensure patient safety, educate patients, and follow PACS/RIS workflows while adhering to ALARA and infection control standards.

Requirements include ARRT, mammography registry, NJ radiographer license, BLS, 2+ years’ experience, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) (R) required.
• Advanced registry in Mammography, (M), required.
• Must have current NJ State Radiographer License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2+ years’ experience performing Mammography required.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety by utilizing proper exposure and protective measures.
• Educates and explains procedures to patients.
• Follows department protocols in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Follows regulatory guidelines and performs QA/QC as mandated by ACR/MQSA.
