Job summary

The Wealshire in Medina, MN seeks a detail‑oriented maintenance professional to support our dementia care community. The role requires extreme attention to detail, self‑motivation, and compassionate service to residents and staff; you will perform preventative maintenance, fix minor repairs, and assist with facility needs during daytime hours.

This full‑time position runs 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with on‑call rotation for after‑hours, weekend, and emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications

Must be compassionate and work with tact and ethical awareness.
Able to follow oral and written directions accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.
Adheres to safety rules and regulations; maintains a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
Performs minor repairs of building such as toilets, sinks, door closures, and windows.
Responsible for snow and ice removal, light landscaping, and keeping parking lots clean.
Performs interior painting, staining and drywall repair; minor appliance maintenance.
Assists in moving residents belongings to rooms and maintains/repairs water fountains.
Documents all preventative and repair maintenance; responds to emergency maintenance requests.
Offers suggestions for improvement and participates in on-call rotation.
