Job summary

Wealshire of Bloomington in Medina, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our dementia and Alzheimer's care community. This full-time role requires attention to detail and a compassionate approach to residents and staff.

You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, snow removal, and regular upkeep of building systems, with a Monday through Friday schedule and an on-call rotation for after-hours needs. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Prior maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to perform physical tasks.
Capable of handling on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment on a scheduled basis (filters, ice machines, lights).
Repair minor building systems (toilets, sinks, door closures, windows).
Snow and ice removal; light landscaping; keep parking lot clean.
Maintain appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dryers, washers, vacuums) per monthly checklist.
Interior painting, staining, and drywall repair.
Assist in moving residents' belongings to assigned rooms.
Maintain and repair water fountains.
Document maintenance activities.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
Offer ideas for improvements.
