Job summary

City Creek Assisted Living is seeking an experienced LVN/Treatment Nurse to join our team in Sacramento. The LVN will administer medications and treatments, provide direct resident care, and encourage participation in activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating physician orders, monitoring responses to treatments, maintaining MAR, and ensuring medication area organization. Must pass background health screenings and have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• LVN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months LVN experience preferred.
• Strong desire to care for the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments and maintain MAR.
• Coordinate orders between prescriber and pharmacy; notify DON of issues.
• Observe resident responses and monitor interactions/side effects.
• Update physician with changes in condition; communicate with MD.
• Audit medications and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain organization of medication supply area and equipment.
• Document changes and inform leadership per policies.
• Assist with inventory of diabetic supplies.
• Follow reporting guidelines for abuse, neglect, etc.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
