Qualifications

• Licensed nurse provides care within licensure scope per established policies.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as prescribed.
• Keeps MD/NP informed of patient status and changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications following the 10 rights of medication administration.
• Assists with rehabilitation and treatment of patients per the care plan.
• Assists physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed.
• Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Interacts professionally with patients and families in the plan of care.
• Assists with admitting, discharging and transferring patients.
