Job summary

BrightStar Care Amarillo is seeking a skilled LVN to provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Borger, Pampa, and surrounding communities. Join a locally owned home health team and enjoy flexible PRN opportunities with weekly pay and supportive clinical staff.

Responsibilities include following each patient’s plan of care, monitoring conditions, administering medications, educating families, coordinating with physicians, and completing timely charting.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Skilled home health experience preferred, but not required.
• Wound care experience is a plus.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own device and reliable internet connection to access schedule and charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to each patient’s plan of care.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care.
• Communicate with physicians and other care team members.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
