Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like setting. You will assess residents, document status, and collaborate with a dedicated care team to support resident wellbeing.

Requirements include an active LPN license and CPR certification; 1–2 years of nursing experience is preferred, with experience with the elderly highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LPN license and CPR certification.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly care is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report changes to care team.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead RCAs in job duties.
• Coordinate care with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Prevent elder abuse and report per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup when needed.
