Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation of Eugene is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care in a skilled nursing setting. You will work under RN supervision, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and supporting residents with daily activities.

This full-time role requires LPN licensure in Oregon, CPR/BLS, and prior long-term care experience is helpful. PRN shifts are also available; compensation aligns with Oregon market norms.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN license in Oregon.
• CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care, including vital signs and medication administration.
• Perform wound care and assist with daily activities for residents.
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, bathing and mobility.
• Monitor nutrition and hydration; aid feeding when necessary.
• Record patient history and ongoing condition; communicate with RN and families.
• Document care provided, medications, and observations accurately.
