Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Nursing - LPN team on a 12 Hr Morning - Afternoon shift. You will use the nursing process to access, plan, implement, and evaluate care for Center patients, collaborating with physicians to develop and adjust plans as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Georgia LPN license, BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days), and have 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Georgia and BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical and emotional needs and provide care.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; plan care with physician.
• Document nursing interventions and physician orders timely.
• Administer and document medications accurately.
• Follow infection control and safety practices.
• Coordinate patient care with team and prioritize acute needs.
