Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver quality care in a faith-based senior living community in Minnesota. The role covers assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care, with emphasis on monitoring staff, care planning, and direct resident care.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program, hold a current license in good standing in Minnesota, and have at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
• Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
• One year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as appropriate including procedures such as catheter placement, colostomy care, suction, dressings, and tube care.
• Monitor staff performance and communicate observations to Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing.
• Assist in orientation and training of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants.
• Ensure physician orders for diets, therapy, and medications are transcribed and communicated.
• Observe residents’ health and notify physician and family members as needed.
• Participate in shift change reports to ensure accurate resident information.
