Job summary

Covenant Living in Golden Valley, MN seeks a licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high quality resident care across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. You will supervise nursing assistants and participate in care planning while delivering direct patient care across a faith-based community.

A state license and 1 year of nursing experience are required, with responsibilities including communicating with physicians and families and ensuring care plans meet

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
• Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
• One year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of the nursing assistants on the unit.
• Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement, colostomy care, suction, dressings, and nasogastric tubes.
• Communicate with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations and concerns.
• Observe residents' health and report significant changes to staff and physicians as needed.
