Job summary

HERITAGE PARK MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will actively supervise CNAs and CMAs and ensure compliance with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and related regulations.

You will participate in the facility's QA program, coordinate with other professionals, and maintain accurate medical records and discharge plans as part of a teamwork-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Oklahoma.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills in both individual and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise CNAs and CMAs in daily nursing activities.
• Maintain QA program for the nursing department.
• Participate in surveys/inspections by government agencies.
• Record diet orders and disseminate to dietary department.
• Chart communications with physicians and families.
• Record and transcribe physician orders.
• Assist with discharge planning and reviews.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Ensure proper nursing charting and documentation.
