Extended Care, LLC is seeking dynamic and compassionate LPNs to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care at our Joliet-area facility. You will direct nursing staff, administer medications, and participate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, individualized care for residents.

Formación

• Valid nursing license as required by state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Relate positively to residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake diverse care tasks in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Confidentiality and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, energetic, professional, and reliable.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admissions, discharges, and transfers; chart per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration tasks per policies.
• Make daily rounds and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
