Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Michigan seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct, quality clinical care and supervise nursing assistants on the unit. You will monitor residents daily, notify the charge nurse and physician of changes, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities include holistic patient care, inventory oversight of medications and supplies, and completing medical forms.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid state LPN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents on assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate health status and alert charge nurse/physician if a change occurs.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures when physician is unavailable.
• Provide holistic care for residents within LPN scope.
• Assist in inventory management of medications, supplies and equipment to ensure availability.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports and charting as necessary.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids and hazardous materials per policy.
