Benchmark Senior Living in Connecticut is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high‑quality nursing care for our residents in a warm, home‑like environment. You will supervise and collaborate with Resident Care Assistants and coordinate with care teams to maintain residents’ comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with the elderly.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in residents’ health to care teams per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and the personal emergency response system.
