Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Cook to join our team and prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will work to deliver quality meals that meet dietary needs while maintaining a clean kitchen and positive resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Must follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Dealt with residents and staff professionally; COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
