Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You’ll ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following recipes and dietary restrictions, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role offers hands-on training, residency within service area, and opportunity to contribute to resident satisfaction in a supportive team environment. Starting pay is competitive at USD 20.00/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must lift/carry 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• State/county required ServSafe or Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
