Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure meal quality, safety, and presentation while supporting resident well-being and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by State/County law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
