Job summary

Merrimack County Nursing Home in New Hampshire is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to support residents, maintain clean quarters, and participate in recreational and daily care activities in a warm, home-like environment. Education requires completion of the 100-hour approved program for Nursing Assistants and a passing score on the NH Board of Nursing competency evaluation.

No prior experience is required, but all conditional hires will undergo drug screening and a criminal background

Qualifications

• Completion of 100 hour approved program for Nursing Assistants and passing score on competency evaluation program approved by the NH Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to attain and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being as determined by resident assessments and individual plan of care.
• Our LNA's are expected to perform a wide variety of services to assist in the care of residents, their quarters, recreational and work activities.
