Alice Peck Day Health System in Lebanon, NH is hiring a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) and Health Unit Coordinator for Med Surg. This full-time day shift role (7a–7p) supports patient care flow and unit operations in Nursing Services.

The position requires a high school diploma, medical terminology, and prior medical setting experience. The LNA/HUC collaborates with nurses, coordinates documentation, and ensures efficient patient throughput in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma required.
• Medical terminology required.
• One year of previous experience in a medical setting, or the equivalent preferred.
• One year of previous experience as an LNA in an acute care setting preferred.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills.
• BCLS preferred on hire; required within 30 days of hire.

• Communicates with other HUCs to complete general secretarial duties to facilitate a well-run and organized department.
• Manages department phone calls and messages to support clear and accurate multidirectional communication.
• Greets anyone entering the department to support a welcoming environment and to provide direction.
• Manages appropriate levels of office supplies in a fiscally conscientious manner.
• Supports timely, accurate, and confidential flow of patient documentation through chart preparation, faxing, filing, copying and verification of completeness.
• Supports timely and accurate management of providers’ orders in the electronic medical record.
• Enters department work orders to appropriate departments and follows up for completion; performs charge entry timely.
• Maintains equipment manuals and product pamphlets for clinical staff use.
• Provides general support to providers for patient care needs and coordination of appointments.
