Job summary

Village at St. Barnabas is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team and deliver nutritious, flavorful meals for residents in a country club setting. You’ll work with the Chef to provide variety, maintain safety standards, and ensure plates look and taste exceptional.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of line cook experience, ServSafe knowledge a plus, and a compassionate approach to seniors. Full benefits include health insurance, PTO, holidays, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary training or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and Chef guidelines.
• Collaborate with Chef and culinary team to offer variety and creativity.
• Follow food handling, storage and sanitation procedures per guidelines.
• Keep kitchen clean and safe to protect residents' health.
• Maintain an organized station for lunch and dinner service.
