Job summary

Covenant Health Ministry in Nashua, NH is seeking a licensed nursing assistant to render nursing care on an assigned unit, supporting RNs and LPNs within our hospital.

You will document patient care in the Electronic Health Record, assist with personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and observe patient conditions, escalating changes to the RN. This role requires active LNA licensure and CPR certification, with CPI being preferred.

Qualifications

• CPI training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Current Hampshire LNA license required
• BLS/CPR AED Certification required

Responsibilities

• Renders nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff, RNs and LPNs
• Documents all care provided to the patient in the Electronic Health Record
• Reports any unusual or changes in patient condition to the primary RN and/or charge RN
• Completes bedside shift hand-off report routinely and independently
• Assists with personal hygiene to increase patient comfort and wellbeing
• Assists with ambulation and mobility and documents activity in EHR
• Assists with meal service and nourishment between meals
• Performs bladder scans, EKGs, CPMs, and assists with other procedures after competencies
• Maintains patient safety and follows fall prevention measures
