Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated laundry/housekeeping aide to support nursing home operations. You will prepare, wash, dry and fold linen, and ensure clean items are delivered to resident rooms with attention to sanitary standards.

This role requires reading and following directions, basic math, and problem-solving as needed. Prior laundry experience is preferred; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quantity of clean linen for resident care and comfort.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and equipment.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
