Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Roseville, CA is seeking a universal food services teammate who will prepare, wash and store dishes, assist with serving meals and clear tables. You’ll be cross trained in other positions as directed by the Community Executive Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The role requires at least 18 years old, basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation, and a current food handler permit as required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of room trays if needed.
• Set tables in the dining room and support kitchen staff with cleaning duties.
• Work as part of the food services team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices and maintain resident dignity and respect.
