Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living is seeking a team-oriented dishwashing associate in Massachusetts to support dining services. You will wash, prepare, and store dishes while helping serve meals and clear resident tables, and you may be cross-trained in other kitchen roles.

Must be 18+, know sanitation basics, and hold or obtain a food handlers permit as required. Strong English communication and the ability to work quickly in a busy environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work well under time pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures.
• Assist in serving meals and clearing tables as directed.
• Set tables in the dining room and assist in bussing and delivery of room trays as needed.
• Assist Chefs in cleaning food serving areas and equipment.
• Complete dishwasher temperature log at required times.
• Work as part of the food services team to ensure smooth and safe kitchen operation.
