Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA or 6+ months bedside care experience preferred.
• Must read, write and follow instructions; strong communication is essential.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain patient dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support unit rules and safety of patients.
• Use de-escalation and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, document vitals and observations.
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions; attend required in-services.
• Communicate patient care findings to nurses and document accurately.
