Forward Family Care, LLC is seeking an In-Home Youth Care Worker in Racine County, Wisconsin. This part-time role offers flexible hours, with after-school and weekend availability.

The worker will support youth in home and community settings, focusing on behavioral health, social skills, and family communication. Ideal candidates have experience or education in special education or social work and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in special education, social work, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in home/community settings and manage data collection.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct support to youth in home and community settings.
• Implement individualized care plans focusing on behavioral health and social skills.
• Engage in data collection to monitor progress and inform care adjustments.
• Facilitate communication between youth and families to keep everyone informed.
• Support youth with autism using specialized engagement techniques.
• Collaborate with social workers and educators to build a support network.
• Participate in training to enhance caregiving and special education skills.
