Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide in-home health care as independent contractors. You will deliver holistic, compassionate care to energy workers in their homes, coordinating with case managers and physicians while documenting care in our EMR system.

The role requires RN licensure in the state of practice, willingness to travel, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the practicing state.
Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
Malpractice insurance required.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and provide personalized care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living as needed with dignity.
Coordinate scheduling with patients per plan of care and preferences.
Monitor changes in patient conditions and report promptly to care team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate patient logs in the EMR reflecting the care journey.
Offer emotional support and build trusted relationships with patients and families.
