Job summary

Sandcastle Homecare is seeking a Caregiver to join our home care team in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves performing personal care services under supervision, observing clients, and reporting changes to the supervisor.

The caregiver will assist with ADLs and IADLs, measure and record vital signs, and follow infection control protocols to ensure safety and dignity for our clients. Strong interpersonal skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care services under supervision.
• Observe and report client condition and response to care.
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Provides client care as directed by the assigned supervisor.
• Provide assistance with ADLs (e.g. bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, continence, mobility and transfers).
• Provide assistance with IADLs (e.g. food preparation, housekeeping, laundry, medication management).
• Measures and records physiological characteristics (e.g. temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, weight).
• Responds rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation.
