NeighborHealth in Winthrop, MA is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide to provide in-home assistance with ADLs and IADLs for Neighborhood PACE participants. You’ll work independently, follow care plans, and show respect for participants’ homes and communities.

The role requires a High School diploma, HHA/CNA certification, and at least one year of experience with frail seniors, plus strong customer service. Schedule: Wed, Fri and every other weekend, 7a-11a and 4p-8p; pay: $22–$31/hour.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current HHA/CNA certification from an approved program.
• Minimum of one year experience with frail or elderly population.
• Previous experience as health aide, personal care assistant or similar role preferred.
• Vehicle to travel from home to home preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; bilingual a plus.
• Physical capability to provide ADL and mobility assistance.

Aufgaben

• Monitors participant ADL/IADL care plans and follows the care plan.
• Check the health aide voicemail at shift start and every two hours, report abnormal findings to the team.
• Assist participants with ADLs as defined in the care plan.
• Accompany participants to appointments as assigned.
• Perform simple treatments under nursing supervision, including catheter care and skin assessments.
