The General Hospital Corporation in Boston seeks a part-time Home Care Aide to join the Elder Services team. You will provide compassionate personal care and homemaking services to elders in their homes across North End and surrounding areas.

Flexible scheduling with day shifts, 7am–6pm, Monday–Friday, with potential up to 40 hours. The role involves visiting patients in their homes, offering companionship, meal prep, and support with daily activities, under supervision from the Elder Services

Qualificações

• Knowledgeable in patient care practices, including personal care, homemaking, and basic health care services.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Have good personal hygiene.
• Able to do light housekeeping.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.

Responsabilidades

• Doing the weekly grocery shopping.
• Cleaning, cooking, and doing the laundry.
• Advising household owners in housekeeping matters.
• Staying up-to-date nutrition and hygiene.
• Provide personal care, such as assisting with bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
