Job summary

NEW Health Center in Boston’s North End and West End is seeking a part-time Home Care Aide to deliver personal care and homemaking services in the homes of our most frail elders. The role includes flexible scheduling and a start at 20 hours per week, with the potential to reach 40 hours as needed.

Duties include weekly grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry, and assisting with bathing, grooming and mobility.

Qualifications

• Weekly grocery shopping and homemaking duties.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming and mobility support.
• Knowledge of in-patient care practices and homemaking basics.
