Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services in Massachusetts seeks a part-time Home Health Aide to assist clients with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and support personal care. The role includes light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders.

A compassionate, reliable individual who can pass a background screening and hold a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in-home care preferred, but not required. Training and certifications can be provided.
• Must be dedicated, reliable and sensitive to the needs of the client.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background screening.
• Driver's License required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push, and provide physical intervention as necessary.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be 18 years of age (or older).

Responsibilities

• Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs.)
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care requirements.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship.
• Full transfers.
• Light housekeeping.
• Laundry.
• Meal preparation.
• Transport to and from shopping (groceries or clothing) and appointments.
