Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for a client in Columbus, OH 43235. The role requires patience and the ability to manage COPD, diabetes, and care for a household with a pet dog and cat.

This position offers 28 hours per week at $16.00/hour, a part-time schedule, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• HHA/PCA/home care experience preferred.
• Mature, reliable and compassionate disposition.
• Dependable and punctual performance is essential.
• Comfortable around dogs and cats in the home setting.
• Experience with clients who have chronic health conditions preferred.
• Able to commit to the scheduled hours listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Assist with safe mobility as needed.
• Follow the client's care plan.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
• Provide attentive care to a client using supplemental oxygen.
