BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for a client in Columbus, OH 43235. The role requires patience and the ability to manage COPD, diabetes, and care for a household with a pet dog and cat.

This position offers 28 hours per week at $16.00/hour, a part-time schedule, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

HHA/PCA/home care experience preferred.
Mature, reliable and compassionate disposition.
Dependable and punctual performance is essential.
Comfortable around dogs and cats in the home setting.
Experience with clients who have chronic health conditions preferred.
Able to commit to the scheduled hours listed.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and personal care.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client care.
Assist with safe mobility as needed.
Follow the client's care plan.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
Provide attentive care to a client using supplemental oxygen.
