Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) or STNA for Delaware, Ohio to provide quality in-home care. You will assist with daily living activities and ensure client safety in the home environment.

The role offers a Monday–Saturday schedule with two shift options and pay of $19 per hour. We value dependable, compassionate caregivers who communicate effectively with the client and care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care or related field.
• HHA or STNA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and respectful approach to caregiving.
• Ability to consistently work the required schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide mobility assistance and maintain a safe home environment.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and basic errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed.
• Communicate with client, family, and care team.
