Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a dependable Part-Time Respite Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate care for a client in the 43228 area of Columbus, Ohio.

This role offers a consistent part-time schedule with shifts Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Starting pay is $16 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care or related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive care.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Help with personal-care needs as assigned.
• Provide supervision and respite support.
• Follow the client's care plan and instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Communicate professionally with client, family, and care team.
• Treat the client with dignity, patience, and respect.
