Job summary

Parx Home Care in Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will provide personalized in-home care, assist with daily activities, administer medication reminders, and support families.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of state-approved HHA training or CNA license.
Current Home Health Aide certification.
Minimum 1 year of Home Health Aide experience.
Excellent communication and empathy with clients and families.
Ability to safely lift and move clients with proper body mechanics.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily needs such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
Remind individuals to take medications and help with administration.
Monitor vital signs and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Perform light household tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship.
Offer emotional support to clients and families.
